That was the one thing I always attributed to smoking cannabis. How it made me not drink. I think I may have had a drink once this year so far? I used to like alcohol, but as every1 knows, drunk, is alot more dangerous than stoned.

It was pretty much my hidden motive when writing the OP. WHY should I stop. I'm still stuck with it though, I don't have a valid reason to stop so to speak. I'm doing this detox as fairyfarmgirl suggested, as I can see how it is beneficial to flush my body through once in a while. But stopping outright, I always assumed that I would start drinking alot more often. At the end of the day I would be VERY hard pushed to find some peers of my age who do niether, and my close circle of friends are alot more into it than myself.

I do smoke alot, but I do try to keep a level head about it all. I'm sat here sober now, only thinking about cannabis analyticaly, due to the thread. Personally I am finding that I am not so "addicted" to it so to say.

From this whole thread, as much as I appreceate the advice, (that I did ask for) I am still really at squre one, in understanding or the problem. Personally right now I'm detoxing in order so that I smoke less in a given time, rather than say a doobie every 2 hours or so(when I have it).

Ra's comments about it creating a lack in synaptic continuity. What do you think this would mean?

I can relate to it through writing a forum post, maybe 50% of my thoughts never make it onto the post, most uasually becuase they come too quick and replace eachother with what I'm writing. I'm pretty sure my forum posts would dramaticly increase in size for smoking less. BigSmile

I suppose for stand off research of Metaphysical, Spiritual things is not so neccerseraly affected by weed, as it is say the practical application of it.

I can't remember where I heard it, but it is said at least 70% of the people in the UK have tried cannabis. It seems that the Spiritual segments of people is just as open to it as the general populace.

An interesting point, the SAS are allegedly the biggest drug trafficers in the world. If true, this is undoubtedly an unfolding STS plan. But the mainstream source of cannabis is uasually contaminated with other stuff. It is this that I have found the most dangerous thing about smoking it. The untrustworthy people who sell it by the tonne. Would this lead to possably assume that cannabis does not cause enough harm as it grows?

I'm not too sure where this topic is going, but one thing is sure. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who finds it useful rather than negative.

    Love and Light
