Hmm, maybe the shift as a society that we're seeing towards eating healthy, wholesome foods has more than one reason! 
I'm always especially wary when I see a message that contains "stock up on food!!!" or something similar to that. In my view, that's indicative of a fear based message. I thank you for sharing this link and the good advice you've written! But the fear within some of the message, I think, should not be dwelled on, because that will just create more fear, more people living in a state of fear. That's the last thing this planet needs...
Even if some massive fallout is gonna hit fast and hard in one week flat, I'm seeing it as a reminder to cherish every moment spent alive on this beautiful planet. I would rather this great catalyst give way to a week spend physically dying of radiation but metaphysically bursting with life and love in the time spent together with my closest friends than to run away to a shelter, munching on stored food and prolonging a physical experience of isolation and suffering.
