This has been done with professional explosives, that produces a really high pressure (without insulation) in a very short time - there can be no scorch marks.
That's the first thing and the second thing is that the rest has been demolished instantly.
There was neither an investigation nor an attempt of restoration.
It's just as if an official reason has been created to remove the monument.
