I'm not the poster you were addressing, but I believe I just had it like a month ago. My 14 year old boy kindly brought it home with his friends. He got better in 3 days. It took me and my gal about two and a half weeks. We are mid-fifties age. I had pounded it pretty well with CDS, so it didn't get that bad, but it still did develop.
I had a lot of mucous in the lungs, lost my taste (pretty much back now) and I was really tired. The losing my taste was kind of bizarre - for the guy that cooks in the family, it pretty much shut down the cooking. Fruit punch tasted like an apple cider cinnamon drink, which was kind of tasty, but coffee was awful tasting. I could only mow the front yard or the back yard at one time, when I normally do both without a problem.
I would call it annoying, but not a big deal for me. An interesting experience to be sure.
Thank you for sharing your experience with covid. Wondering if you and your gal were vaccinated or not?
