The way the virus progresses raises the qi into the chest. This would be a qi deviation in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is why shortness of breath is common and persists for weeks or months afterward. If you want to get rid of this, deep abdominal breathing will bring the qi back down to the lower dantien and re-establish a healthy breathing pattern. The shortness of breath will go away once this pattern of abdominal breathing is established or re-established. There may be a period where you have some phlegm which is in the lungs and needs expelled. Once the breathing is fixed then doing exercise that induces heavy breathing will help expel anything which needs expelled.
Stay Healthy everyone.
How was your experience with it? What is your age and how long did it take to get over it?
Upper 30s, fever 10 days, some minor throat soreness and congestion. After the fever went away still had some shortness of breath. Never lost taste or smell but taste changed. Overall it sucked, but wasn't that bad.
