In practical terms, what would you suggest for someone like me, who is not going to get vaccinated but wants to travel again?
Depending on what kind of travel you wish to do, I expect there will be destinations that does not ask for proof. Even here in Canada you will be able to enter without vaccination, but you will need to pay for and pass two negative PCR tests and quarantine for a couple days in a hotel while you wait for the second test results (one test before you fly and the second one is on arrival).
Okay. Well, at least it isn't total restriction. I don't watch the news but I will have to start looking into it. I don't want to be isolated because I haven't been vaccinated. And I don't want to be forced into vaccination.
I don't think it will be possible to truly completely enforce vaccination for traveling, because some people simply cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. So there will have to be alternatives, like the ones Canada has put in place. But I think they will make it a hassle as much as possible so that it encourages people to just get vaccinated and be done with it. That is pretty much why I got vaccinated. I don't care about the protection and I don't fear that virus. I just wished to have an easier time travelling. (But I also do not fear those vaccines one iota)
