The consciousness of the Creator can never be destroyed. All that is created, experienced, and ultimately set aside or destroyed are shapes the Creator's consciousness takes on in order to experience Creation through them. Characters in a video game. The Player is always the same, eternal, infinite, and cannot be harmed.
We mistakenly think of ourselves as the character, instead of the Player. That too is by design - to experience the world *as* the character more fully - but just as the soul loses nothing when it sets aside a particular incarnation and its body, so too does the Creator lose nothing by setting aside a fully explored portion of Creation. The benefit of the experience is retained, and the exploration continues anew. That is what we call "destruction."
If you look at it from this perspective, "destruction" is in no way at odds with love.
As the Consciousness of the Creator cannot be destroyed, are we not too a part of the Creator, (in Human form)? Self-existing and self-sustaining in countless forms, Going offtrack here, (a momentary diversion). Last night I watched a train cab ride video in Japan on YouTube, and it was a railway line passing through the mountains and forests. A moment of "Awakening" during the video. Have you ever considered how many trillions of life-forms are in various states of incarnation, (simultaneously), on Earth? As the train passed the countless numbers of trees, and every individual tree evolving to a Higher Conscious State, to eventually become Human, (and then God(s)), and we observe the overall picture, (as the Observer), we, (as Humans), have gained much, in our myriad lifetimes. Return, (and return again), and again I return, and yet, I still remain unworthy to enter the "Realms of the God(s)". Now getting back on-track.
Enlightenment is a cruel beast. It is forever taunting you, and deceiving you, into convincing you it is something, that it is not. We are deceived by delusions and hearsay. We search for Prophets to Enlighten us, and most of them are charlatans and magicians. I should become a friend of Shiva, (the Great Destroyer), because maybe then He can destroy all my misconceptions of Reality and Enlightenment? It then becomes the Paradox of Zen. To comprehend Zen, you must destroy Zen. It appears that a new beast is appearing on the horizon, the pet of Shiva, An animal that will take everything that you have understood up to that moment, and then it will destroy all your misconceptions. It is not Enlightenment you need, (but), a different type of Awakening. Tread gently when walking near Enlightenment, if you awaken it too quickly, it will hide itself in the VOID until it is safe to return. It appears as if Non-Duality wants to become my new pet, and Enlightenment is hiding somewhere inside of it. If I care for Non-Duality wisely, Enlightenment will lose its shyness and reveal itself? So, it appears as if the God(s) want me to evolve more? Such is my fate? At least I am not a tree, I have gained something? Honor the myriad of myriads of Beings that are still evolving. Do we ever give them a thought? Perhaps I should take Shinto more seriously?
So ends the soliloquy,
