Now I believe that you are in joy when you are doing what you were created to do, this includes humans.  In the case of the coffee machine, it cannot really do anything other than what it was created to do.  So it must be in joy at all times really ?  Not such a poor thing after all...  I'm nearly jealous!  

How can you know 'joy' without knowing 'despair'?
As once 'joy' is defined so does 'not joy' / 'despair'.

When one define "A" with it's defined limit, it will automatically define "Not A" for things outside it's limit.

The same things goes for other definition such as "jealous", "Poor", "Created", "Humans", "Coffee Machine", "You".
