Hold the conclusions, recently a singer who had posted her own material on youtube had her account banned because someone complained it was copyrighted content. It took her over a month to get the music back up. "You're a famous singer? Yes ma'am, and I'm the queen of England." Those kind of errors happen all the time.
I would not listen to Alex Jones too much on this topic, first of all it's bad for the heart, secondly, he's likely to inflate this and make it sound as if he's been banned from youtube as a terrible violation of his right to free speech. Proving that everything he said is true. You just know that in absence of facts everyone is going to believe this and be his fan. This is the stuff the man thrives on. While in the end someone probably complained about him using copyrighted music. And Youtube requires some time to establish the truth of this..
You know this is true if you see him draw a knee jerk conclusion before he's had time to establish the facts. Contacting Youtube and establishing the facts costs at least weeks.
If they did not immediately cancel the accounts that are complained about they'd be liable for lots of damages. And in the end ALL videos would be taken offline.. It's messy, but it's the RIAA's fault. Don't blame google directly they have no choice in the matter.
Do you have an url? I'd like to monitor this. Looking for Alex Jones on Youtube gives thousands of results. It's not exactly as if this removes his material.
And do you think it's impossible for the man to release new videos now? Don't you think one of his fans (or a gazillion of them) would post his video for him?
Ok, here's my conspiracy theory: "Jones is occasionally accused of being fed conspiracy stories by the negative elite to cause fear uncertainty and doubt. (He's proven to be good at that) One of those guys figured it'd be a boon to Jones's reputation to get his you tube site pulled down temporarily. How do you do it? The most simple straightforward way possible. File a copyright claim..."
