As far as I understand it, yes.
If we want to do something to polarize a certain way, I would see that as STS.

Can we do anything "good" without love?
I think we need to consider the purity of intentions here’s. We are here to learn the ways of love. STO must be thinking of others at least 51% of the time. Doing a good deed for the rewards, not because you truly are responding with love, is rather self serving. You’ll still get the reward but one can’t be said to be polarizing positively.
My opinion on the attitude of serving others: you want to sincerely help. Say someone is starving and you have the extra food or money. One gives the starving man food out of compassion. He knows that this will produce positive karma, but that’s not why he does the good deed. He does the deed because someone is in need. The appropriate and natural response for this entity is love.
Now one may still be rewarded even if his intentions are not pure: he feeds the starving man because he knows he will be rewarded in the next life.
Is one polarizing to the positive even when his intentions are impure like that? It sounds to me to be a negative bias, but is that a negative polarizing bias? Let’s discuss this because I am unsure.
My question was rhetorical

Honestly, I don't understand all the fixation on the polarization for the "next life". To me, love now and here is all that is and matters.
