Yes, I think you are closer to understanding my post now! Apologies for any confusing comments on my part- I am finding it difficult to express this concept in words, however the more I am able to interact here and make attempts at articulation, the more clear I am becoming on the inside. Hopefully, this translates into clearer wording moving forward.
Quote:I was addressing the validity of pain as an intelligent principle that can be desired to be incorporated into one's experience as Creator within the Allness of the Creator's experience because of how you made it about the Logos.
Oh- I totally get the validity of pain, and even the spiritual desire to experience it. I get that it can be used as a tool for growth. However, in light of the broader fact that just about anything can be used as a tool for growth- given the right attitude- that's where I would wonder if perhaps we have been conditioned to place an improper valuation upon it. Or have come to see it as a "necessity" above and beyond what would typically present in a normal course of incarnation into a physical body, and living in a society of 3D consciousness.
What I am trying to get at with the Logos is the idea that there has apparently been some experimentation going on here. Again- that is "okay" and perhaps even necessary from the standpoint of cosmic evolution.
I'm not actually sure what the hypothesis is here with this creation, however the experiment seems to revolve around dialing up the "veiling" phenomenon to increase the so-called "free will" parameter. The expected outcome- to confirm the hypothesis- was to have observed a "speeding up" of the growth of consciousness among entities.
However, this did not occur. Actually, the opposite occurred. What happened was that more entities exercised their "free will" to inflict even greater pain upon each other, and perhaps even most insidiously, to themselves as we have seen in the development of this theme of martyrdom- of taking the pain and suffering of another entity upon oneself as a spiritual practice. As a result, spiritual growth was minimal, the harvests were poor, nuclear war happened multiple times, planets were destroyed, and souls were traumatized to the point of even experiencing "spiritual pain" as described by Ra.
Ra, themselves, being a group of entities who evolved under the direction of the Solar Logos, and who exhibited a highly polarized graduation, but then chose to travel to a nearby planet "out of love" and proceed to disseminate philosophies which resulted in the opposite of their loving intentions.
So now we have one group of entities that appears stuck in an endless loop of inflicting pain and suffering upon each other, and another group of entities coming in with the philosophy that- somehow- by taking upon the pain and suffering (i.e. catalyst) of others, they can somehow "save" the first group of entities, while also experiencing tremendous spiritual growth themselves, in the process. In the end, this has turned out to be simply adding another layer of experimentation onto the whole mess.
This is all fine and dandy as an experiment... once clearly seen that it did not result in the expected outcome. At which time, the "learning" should have occurred, the experiment brought to an end, and the declaration made to the rest of Creation that dialing up suffering to the max did NOT, indeed, turn out to be a particularly effective way to glorify the Creator (i.e. the Galactic Logos) and serve the entities placed under the care of a Solar Logos.
The difficulty seems to be that- even if the Solar Logos has called an end to the experiment- the entities caught up in it are still bound by the "rules" and parameters of the experimental conditions. And that includes having the "free will" to continue to chose to inflict pain and suffering upon themselves and each other... forever.
Quote:Not the necessity of it in one's current experience.
So that's what I'm trying to understand here. Because certain sources keep telling us that it is necessary. And it is necessary because we chose it. And we chose it because we wanted to "experience ourselves as love in all possible circumstances". This, in turn we chose because it is necessary to our spiritual growth.
Do you see the circular reasoning here? It is necessary because we chose it. But we chose it because it is necessary.
Quote:I've distilled past lifetimes where pain was more of a major theme in those incarnations, one in which this is particulary true, altough that incarnation's purpose was not for learning love but to assist another soul in a way no great karma would be generated. I was still very pleased to find no resentment in the deep trauma, it somewhat made me very emotionally joyful.
That's great you were able to feel joy from that! The closest thing I can recall to that is an healing experience where I appeared to "myself in a past life" who was slowly dying in a dungeon. They were hanging on by sheer will, out of a belief that it was their "duty" to continue to suffer torture out of a religious belief that forbid having the desire to die.
To this entity, I appeared as an "angel of light" and basically said that it was OK to let go. That it was time now to die. And in that moment, they died.
What I experienced as I returned to my body was a flow of energy that was actually intensely pleasurable. Thanks for helping me to remember that!
Quote:It's harder to be compassionate when you forget how it is like to be in pain.
Indeed. But I wonder... why? Isn't it in our basic nature to be compassionate?
Quote:So I don't think pain is necessary in any way, it remains a tool that can be used for various reasons. A belief that pain is a necessity can be harmful. Still though, I believe it has been a great teacher in my soul's past but that I am getting where I'll part with my need of it.
I wish you success in parting with your need of it. And I'd be interested to know how you got there.
