Gita (1st or 2nd century):

He who sees Me everywhere and sees everything in Me is never lost to Me, nor do I become lost to him. He who is established in oneness and worships Me abiding in all beings, that yogi lives in Me, whatever his mode of living may be. That yogi, Oh Arjuna, is regarded as the supreme, who judges pleasure or pain everywhere by the same standard that he applies to himself. (6:30)
