    Breathing right obviously helps relaxing the body. Smile

    Breathing consciously from what I've learned in various esoteric traditions is seen as a key to awaken a higher understanding. By breathing consciously we infuse our unconscious self with consciousness. And thus give us access to knowledge we did not have access to before.

    I don't think we necessarily need all the visualizations. In my opinion they can distract us from our breathing. A visualization is just a mental model in the end.

    Breath directs consciousness.
