You should add references and a bit more research from other sources if you don't want most people to immediately write this off as a spiritual remake of The X Files plot.
Black goo, aliens, nanotechnology and extraterrestrial human creators...  the evil global spanning shadow government.

With more additional information, some references, and much more explanation behind these things you'll have something more solid than already had.

Just realize some parts read closer like fiction than anything else due to my inferred suspension of disbelief by lack of any real explanation about things like the black crystalline leyline earth grid that I mistook to be the evil nanotech black goo...
Or the parts about demons and AI.

Its hard to believe even when you want to believe.
