In Carla's blog, she mentions this being her husband's experience with Jim's Lawn Service.
"After Morning Offering my hero went off, as usual, to mow and garden and dance with the nature spirits, which he does so well. All went well for him, and he had a splendid day, he said." I haven't got around to asking if this is a literal experience for him, or a delightful poetic metaphor on Carla's part. From what she's written about him, I get the impression that "communing with nature" is not just a nice saying, but a profound spiritual experience for him, whether clearing land to build a cabin, or helping clients with their landscaping. Ali, I wonder if you and him might be able to lead a nature walk at a future Homecoming?
