Hi Kaaron... have just received this information from a free notification service:
I subscribed to these because I live (literally) directly across the road from an ocean... (I'm watching waves roll in from my loft bed as I type this) - you can also sign up for earthquake notifications etc...
not sure if you'd find this useful but thought to share with you and others here.
