Does it make any sense that we will catch up to our higher self, and become a higher self ourselves?
It is slightly more complicated than that, but essentially it is correct that we do become our higher self. A sixth density being is capable of doing many things at once. In actuality, a 3rd density soul can do many things at once as well when beyond the confines of their physical body, which is why you can live parallel lives for example. So a portion of our sixth density self acts in the higher self capacity, while another part continues to go about sixth density lessons. It is not a strain on a sixth density beings consciousness to split itself in an endless variety of directions. A sixth density being dwells in nearly perpetual omniscience.
We don't catch up to it though, we simply become it. Nonlinear timeline interactions are an absolute can of worms to the 3rd density mind.
This isn't precisely correct, but it might help you to imagine it if I simply said: the higher self has already helped every future aspect/moment of you, and has already moved into 7th density timelessness. It went through the entire timeline of your evolution through the densities (which already exists outside of time) in a split second. In that split second, it thoroughly and perfectly assisted you in every past/present/future moment. When it was done doing that, it completed its sixth density lessons, and moved through the gateway into seventh density. That split second of helping its past selves you will experience as its assistance from now up till sixth density when you eventually do the same thing it did, because it *is* you.
You know how when you kick the bucket and you experience a panoramic life review and briefly relive your entire life? Well think of what the higher self does as the ULTIMATE life review, of ALL of its incarnations over the densities. It happens in a split second, but it goes through all of it, and when its done, it crosses the gateway.
