I was on a hike last week and there were lots of turkey vultures out and about. Beautiful creatures, wheeling gracefully close to the cliff I was standing on (didn't get any pictures natch).
I've no doubt that falcons may nest around there too but you rarely see them in such numbers, they are more the solitary hunter type. Large groups like that make me think of vultures, especially flying in a circle like that. Plus they like this time of year, spring cleaning time for nature's janitor.
