Thank you for the feedback. No, I haven't seen those sites yet but will def. check them out.
Ali, yes, I forgot I do have a smaller Rider Waite deck. I am just picking up the Tarot again, so I actually didn't realize all I had.
Sure, I-Ching is good to explore here. I can't remember who, but there was a talk once on how the pieces fit together to form geometry like the star tetrahedron. I think it might have been Nassim Haramein, but don't recall.
Questioner, the conversation with the cards is a great idea. I find it's like connecting with the Logos. We don't have to go to the Great Central Sun to be in the energy of Logos. It speaks to us through whispers, which I find remarkable.
I was listening to an interview that Dolores Cannon had with tarot reader Justine Alessi.
You can hear the interview at: http://www.cannonarchives.com/ for January 2, 2009.
I ordered her book Rebirth of the Oracle, which is more modern writing on the tarot.
I use dowsing for yes/no questions. I've dowsed numeric values for herbs I might be taking for different experiences. Like what is the optimal mg of an herb for me, and for someone else I may be working with. And trusting that, it works out perfectly. But I make sure that I'm clear of negative influences.
When I dowse, I first ask "Are you Creator who created me for my highest good" or "are you the guide provided to me for my highest good". Then I ask "are there any negative influences that would affect the results".
Then, just letting go. I find that surrender has power over fear. It's amazing, but when one can learn to surrender more and more, the fluidity of the world around us becomes apparant. I actually can see walls breathing, and the ripples of the ground when I let go into an accepting state. Took months of releasing, and learning to trust intuition more and more.
So when I approach Tarot now, it's how the energetic patterns feel to me. They have their own fluidity and way of speaking, their own dance that one engages in.
