I am creator?

When I realize that I am the consciousness behind my thoughts/mind, I realize this I is the true Creator. But we can only understand it with veiled 3D awareness.

Perhaps another way to think about it is: the consciousness you are talking about is the basis for "understanding" itself.  And you are using it to understand your 3D perspective.  It imparts reality to whatever it touches.

Spirit creates mind and mind creates body.  When you can let go of your attachment to identification with the body, and then let go of your identification with the mind, you'll begin to get glimpses of your identity beyond identities, as pure spirit.  

Your real nature is beyond dualities, and is the substance of existence/aliveness/love itself.  Where mind/body involves subject/object relationships, spirit completely transcends such relationships as the oneness behind all relationships.
