in Germany, there's also a very personal nationwide counselling service called 'Seelenhilfe' (which would translate to something like 'soul support') offered by Schotterblume e.V. at 0700–73 35 36 44 for survivors of emotional, sexual and/or physical abuse, adults and children alike, and the official, government-funded 'Hilfetelefon' (Helpline) reachable at 08000 116 016 as well as online, which is available in German, English, French, Spanish, Turkish and Russian and offers support for all women in need (as well as relatives and supporters).

The POB and postcode probably wouldn't make much sense in case of an emergency, but the following information on the TelefonSeelsorge/International Helpline could be useful as well:

• The German language service is operated 24 hours a day on a free-phone-number: 0800 -111 0 222.
  
• Every evening from 6 pm til midnight the Berlin TelefonSeelsorge operates a crisis hotline staffed by trained English-speaking volunteers (many of whom are native speakers):  030-44 01 06 07.
  
• A Russian language service is also available round the clock: 030 - 44 01 06 06.
