What did you feel that did hinder the light from residing within you?
If you feel that the entity wanted to know how much light you could take, could it also be that it wanted to show you how much light you could take?
If we relate your experience to the one I described, the light changed me because I was not consonant with the light but I embraced the shame I felt in front of that light and only then was I filled with love.
