Above quote came to mind after reading your post as a thought on sovereignty of individuals: to think for oneself and discern for ourselves the validity our source of information whether it be from world "leaders," to mass media, to organized religion, to harmonics of our brothers and sisters of Confederation; find within each of us that which rings true in our hearts and carry on from there for truth to one may not apply to another
