thanks Monica.  Yeah, I had a water filter device for a few years, and then the casing broke, so that it couldn't maintain the internal pressure to push the water through the actual filtering action.  I went for a few months without it, but the taste of chlorine/flourine in the water just gagged me out after drinking purified water for so long.

I eventually bought my own ionizing device.  Partly because I got to experience some Kangen Water during my Homecoming experience
