Some time ago, I attempted to channel Q'uo by myself because I had a few questions for them. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, but no harm came of it. It was a unique experience that still sticks with me, and probably always will.
After clearing my mind and asking for Q'uo, I felt the usual radiating spot of calmness which comes when I ask for the conditioning wave during meditation. It feels to me like someone plops a half-cooked pancake over my brain. haha It helps one to be aware of all the "unnecessary" thoughts they're thinking at that time by increasing the contrast of the flyaway thoughts against the background stillness. In addition to the spot, I also felt their presence which I will eloquently describe as a quick vibrating spot within the pancake that has its own awareness.
Anyways, I asked them to identify themselves and there came no answer, just a very loving feeling. I felt that they knew me and that I felt safe talking to them. It could have been one of my inner guides rather than Q'uo.
After resting with their vibration and quieting my mind farther, I asked the first question: "How can I most pertinently modify my service to be that spark which ignites the fire of spiritual seeking in others?" They answered "We would only suggest that you give effort to being open in every moment to the huge potential that exists for you to do positive working with others. It would greatly help the situation which you desire to come about if you also realize that within each moment that you cause that spark, there is a unique lesson contained within for you."
Then I thanked them and asked the second question: "Are there what we would describe as animals on your planet?" They answered "What we would call an animal and what you would call an animal can be very different things because the animals on your planet are very much a part of yourself. There are certainly a huge range of beings on our home that revel in all their states of consciousness. We can only say that each solar logos takes joy in creating each world as uniquely as possible. Therefore if you go searching on other planets for what you know as an animal, you might not find anything like what you expect, especially in our home."
At this point, I was amazed, because I knew for sure I couldn't imagine any of this. I thanked them sincerely and asked the last question that had been bugging me: "How does this awareness of eachother's minds actually work? Are you aware of all my thoughts and am I aware of all of yours?" They answered "We are not aware of eachother's minds in their entirety. That wouldn't be appropriate, and would cause confusion for you. What is happening now, is we are creating a kind of shared consciousness. Think of it as an empty box. We place thoughts in the box, and you take them out, and visa versa."
At that point, I thanked them again, spent some time in quietness with them, (They REALLY love me, and so their vibration was very healing to me.) and then closed the contact. I'm still in awe!
