You have very sadly described the plight of so many today. The generations that grew up since the 60's and all the processed and packaged foods, have all been dealing with the sugar/carb addictions to some degree. And as Jade mentioned, there is no life force or nutrition in these things. I am like you, and the control I have is to simply not have it in the house. My boyfriend, however, hides potato chips in his office.
