Good luck Jody!! It is indeed a necessary service at this time as it's the main way other entities are interacting with us. Anyway, my piece of advice is, if you haven't already, to read Carla's channeling handbook. I think it's a very thorough account of her experiences and her advice to fledgling channelers, as she used to teach people to channel for many years.

Admittedly I've only read part of it as my interest in actually channeling myself has been peripheral, but I can't image there's a wasted word for one who desires to channel the Confederation.
