Can we test for parallel worlds?

The last 4 books I've read talked about parallel worlds.
His Dark Materials (3 book trilogy)
and
The Great Book of Amber (10 books in one)

And these characters can travel between the worlds. Amber does it interesting in that there are shadow worlds they call it, that can have an infinte number of possibilities. They go through these worlds by walking or driving or sailing a ship.

That's interesting that electrons are not waves. I figured they were both particles and waves. But the interference comes from a parallel earth sounds fascinating.

I've heard there are like 10 to the 40th power universes within a larger Universe called the Absolutum. Or something like that.

Confused, do you believe that as we progress spiritually, in eons of time we'll eventually have our own Universe?
