Randi challenge?

Last year at a psychic festival, I spoke with a man who had just as much confidence in his ability to win the Randi challenge and claimed he would do so in the next couple months. He said he had a wide range of abilities that could win him the money. After I told him that I heard they had a habit of denying actual winners their credit, he said "Well then I'll set their asses on fire with my mind!" with just as much confidence.

As far as I know, he hasn't gone on to win nor set them on fire :p
