Artistic Endeavors

[Steppingfeet]

A personal work which I finished a few days ago; Searching & Weariness. I went through several stages of self-exploration while working on this piece, a period during which I attempted to balance work and leisure. I found that the answer lies in expressing myself more openly artistically instead of focusing on the result and dismissing ideas too quickly. I am still working on this

Interesting that you juxtapose weariness with searching, as I see the latter but not so much the former. *To me* she conveys confidence, fortitude, determination, poise, and a sure-footed readiness to meet what lies ahead.

I see no weariness in the eyes or shoulders or posture... maybe a momentary pauses as she scans what awaits.
