A follow-up to complete the story:
During a meeting I was busy mentally focusing on / connecting with, and loving the Creator within each person, but thinking that I still dislike some of their personalities. I was told the following:
"Remember that all the light that shines through a person (i.e., every expression of their personality, every behavior, etc.) is light of the Creator (i.e., it is literally the Creator's light of particular characteristics, whichever ones the personality allows through, shining through them). Therefore, if you love the Creator, love all the Creator's light. Then, you will attain perfect love. That is the truth."
I think this completes the recipe for 1) accepting oneself unconditionally, 2) recognizing oneself and others as actually being the Creator, and 3) loving others unconditionally, in their totality - both as the Creator and as their personality.
