The mysterious nature of time

makes u wonder if his apparent recollection of individuality/friendship was simply a glitch caused by being energized or did it turn out to be something he was allowed to remember even after being converted back into matter

the fact that the memory hit him right after the dematerialization began makes me think it was just a glitch that lasted only briefly

That scene brought to my mind the following quote from the LOO --

True friends understand; instead of judging. No body is perfect, but I think all cry deep inside for someone to understand them, at some point in their life.
