Great thread!
Wow, I'm not familiar with most of these listed.
I would add:
What Dreams May Come - very powerful message about redemptive/sacrificial love and commitment. Beautifully filmed, very lush and beautiful. Deals with other realms, a metaphorical view of heaven/hell, karmic lessons, and, most of all, the power of love. Emotionally intense but very rewarding.
Pay It Forward - What a fabulous idea! Imagine if we all did that!
The Devil's Advocate - Has some negativity and graphic, violent parts, so definitely not a fun, fluffy movie. But makes a profound statement about Free Will in the midst of extreme evil.
Waking Life - Very trippy movie about Lucid Dreaming. Who needs drugs? Just watch this movie!
Time Bandits - A romp! But with a lot of profound little tidbits scattered throughout the movie. Fun time-travel adventure with dwarves and some of the Monty Python people.
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home - My fav ST movie. Well done. Inspiring in the sense of people working together to save the planet, and recognizing that humans aren't the most intelligent species on Planet Earth.
Across the Universe - Rekindle the Spirit of the 60s! (When a lot of Wanderers woke up.)
