We cannot express the full magical nature of your water, nor can we express the likeness and attractiveness of the garlic cut to lower astral forms.

The attractiveness is negative and no service-to-self astral form will accept coexistence with the cut garlic.

even though Ra couldn't express why garlic has this property, it is still curious to ponder why.

is it becuz they don't like the garlic smell?

I can commiserate, as my father used to be somewhat over-eager in his use of this substance in certain of his dishes

From my understanding, you aren't too far off from the truth, in a sense. And its also, likely, the origin of the whole "vampires being repelled by garlic" idea, as it does, in fact, repel negative astral entities.

Everything that has an outer space/time reality, also has an inner time/space reality as well. The time/space nature of garlic is such that it is perceived as extremely repulsive to negatively polarized entities. Much in the same way that love is repulsive to these entities. It's like "astral bear spray".

There is probably a substance that acts in a similar way towards positively polarized beings, though I'm not sure what that would be. However, it wouldn't surprise from an intuitive standpoint, if it was something like "sulphur".
