being around 'clear people' you will see your own blockages with less resistance.

but the feedback is available either way. It's up to us to take responsibility for what we see and how we react to others.

Would it not be your "blockages" or "distortions" which are being projected on to others in either case?

The way I interpret this passage is that, while we will project ourselves onto anyone and anything (whether it's something we hate or something we love), when we project onto a person in complete balance, their own distortions are absent and the feedback we get is completely relevant to ourselves. Whether we see them as superheroes or villains or anything in between, what we see in them necessarily exists within us. We're unaware of these attributes and so they are being exaggerated in our perception so that we might become aware of them within ourselves.

I think anyone can and does serve as a mirror, but the fact that the entity is balanced may just mean that the mirror is crystal clear.
