That was an unfair trick he pulled on you Josh, but it seems like you dealt with the situation well. I'd say that the way to most effectively act on catalysts is to try to be as much yourself as you can be, while keeping tightly on to the emotions that you wish to polarize towards. Tell him openly how you felt about the situation and that no harm (if none has in you opinion) has been done but that you would like to be shown some more respect regarding what you have stated earlier to him. You might want to ponder on why he would have done this; ie. out of love or power, and respond in an appropriate manner. The more open we are to our other-selves about how we truly feel, the less tension there is in the air.
How do i personally act on catalysts? I embrace every problem/challenge/catalyst and try to be as much as my true self as i can while acting on them. Shedding all the negative ways to act on catalysts that this world has taught me, and working on spreading light on all situations of life. Love the world and it will love you back
