3 things with 3 different meditations.
First is Anapatasati. This involves focusing all consciousness onto the sensation of breath passing through the nostril.
Second is vipassanasati. This involves focusing all consciousness onto the sensations of the body in an order that is consistent and repeated.
Third is mettapanasati. This involves sending love/light energy outwards.
These are the meditations that the Guatama Buddha taught in their purest form. To learn how to do these meditations go to www.dhamma.org
