I had some huge pollen issues when I was younger and in latter years they've subsided quite alot. I have not changed much in what medications I take but am better at taking them 2-3 weeks BEFORE pollen season starts which helps your body build a buffer of anti-histamine to combat shocks.
The main ingredient to lessening the effect is medicational smoking.
If my nose runs and no amount of spray or pills or gooing up papers helps then I smoke and voilá, it helps.
Only recommended for adults who know wtf they're doing, though =). May not help everyone, also.
