I saw this..it was just alright but I enjoyed it. The movie is centered around The Eye, an old order of true magicians from Egyptian times whose purpose is to restore balance. They would take from the rich and give to the poor. Not exactly balanced, but the movie hints towards all that with the theme of people being distracted, while the real trick is going on somewhere else. Magicians are invited to join the order, where true magic will be revealed.
So the basis of the movie is that these magicians have to be successful in pulling off 3 grand tricks, and if they display the proper ability, they're invited into the circle. The idea being that the four have to come together as one to make it work. Most magicians fail. The movie emphasizes blind faith and following "orders" (guidance/teaching?), as the blueprints to the tricks they perform come from someone they haven't met. A lot of the themes certainly match what we discuss in here, and the tarot is present. The symbolism at the end is interesting. Worth watching.
