What I've done is just not resist the "negative" feelings. Let them flow through me without interpretation (so much as that is possible) it feels like I'm "using up" residual negativity... emptying the bucket as it were.

I do this because I have a bad habit of denying and repressing these feelings. Causing them to become "stuck".
