Downward into the ground of being.... I really like that. It makes me think of the polarity & spiritual gravity that I feel I once had, some time back before I was born.

That "sacrificial" aspect seems related to the "ceremonies" mentioned at the end of the long original quote above. It all feels quite beautiful and well poised; empty, yet full...or full yet empty? It sounds like life in slow motion, unhurried, equilibrated. Not like mine--uh, so far. <lol>
