Rie for the longest time I felt no one has noticed that breathing slow during meditation will slow down the perception of time extremely effectively I had dicoverd that on my own a few years back. Its incredible isn't it? The slower you breathe the slower time slows down. Wich is why i breathe super slow during meditation. It is pretty uncomfortable but is incredible and problems fade much quicker. Im almost barely breathing thats how slow I breathe and only though my nose, try it!

It's pretty amazing! I also use this when I'm with someone who is emotionally flooding (e.g., 'hysterically' crying, getting angry, etc.,). They slow down, too.
