So my entire life I've come across the term, "Watcher" and for some reason it has always resonated with me for some reason. I know that w/ out a doubt I am a 'systems buster' and one of my mission's is to shake things up which hopefully helps them wake up.

I've always been a strong boy/man my whole life and was always able to defend myself although nobody ever in my life ever actually started a fight w/ me. But I was in plenty........all b/c I was defending friends, friends of friends, family, or whoever. I say this b/c looking back I certainly feel as if I was there at certain times throughout my life just to be there to help another person.

From when I was a kid and always thought the song "Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix was some sort of message to me to when Dr. Dre (the rapper) had a song called "The Watcher."

Even just sitting in a busy public place and just straight up people watching is AWESOME in my book. I would imagine that unless you feel the way I do then some of this may sound a bit silly.

I won't bore you with all of my examples but I would love to know if any of you feel as if you are more of a "Watcher" than a "Wanderer?"

I would consider "Watcher" to be a subset of "Wanderer", but yes I think I know what you mean. I've felt very similar myself, and it has been, for the most part, rather awkward and feeling like something is "wrong" with me for not wanting to fully engage society.

Some years ago, I received a bit of confirmation through a friend who channeled "The Angels"... supposedly they told her that my mission was simply to radiate light/information, and that I didn't really need to do anything, but was just fulfilling my mission by being.

Then, last year I read Dolores Cannon's Three Waves of Volunteers, and a similar concept was presented.

Despite these confirmations, I still sometimes question it though! Even within spiritual circles it feels like the overwhelming attitude is that we need to be do, do, doing all the time in order to be worth something in the eyes of society- or even the Creator.

I mean- it's not like I'm a total lazy ass... I have three businesses which are all geared toward helping others improve their health and helping health-oriented companies better serve their customers. And gearing up to start volunteering with the local food bank to start teaching cooking classes, etc.

I dunno... I guess I will stick with the 80/20 Rule. Which says, 80 percent of the results come from 20 percent of the efforts. Meaning- most of the time people spend running around "doing stuff" doesn't actually accomplish anything. BigSmile

Thanks for responding and thanks also for all that you do! You sound like a very Bright Light! Keep shining and sharing that Light!

And the reason I posted this and was finally convinced I am a Watcher is when I listen to a song named, "Power" by Kanye West w/ Jay Z I feel like the beginning of the song is speaking directly to me and is almost helping me realize my mission.

As for this song.......lately this song gets my Energy ENERGIZED! This is the first song I listen to when working out to get me pumped up. After that, I normally listen to trance music so there's no distracting words.

Maybe other Watchers out there find this song as energizing as myself?

    Power Remix Lyrics

    Is this thing on?
Oh, I thought they silenced us, Ye
    Power to the people

We livin’ in that 31st century, futuristic fly s***
The penthouse is the projects and everybody flies private
New Watchers, You know what time it is, Watch us (You see us)
They can’t stop us, prophets, beyotches

    Rumble, young man, rumble
Life is a trip, so sometimes, we gon’ stumble
You gotta go through pain in order to become you
But once the world Loves you, you’ll feel like there's only ONE you
Now you got the power to do anything you want to
Until you ask yourself, “Is this what it’s all come to?”
Lookin’ at life through sunglasses and a sunroof
But do you have the power to get out from up under you?
f*** Rollies, labels, f*** what everybody wants from you
They tryna Axl Rose you, welcome to the jungle
To be continued, we on that Norman Mailer s***
In search of the truth, even if it goes through the tele-wha'...televist

    POWER REMIX

I think the term "watcher" would make a very nice substitute for "lurker" - at least here on bring4th!

I love to watch people, animals, birds, bees, even insects. And I have stepped in more than once to prevent people coming to blows.

Thank you, Daydreamin, for expressing this point of view. It resonates with me.

And Tenet Nosce, thank you for not being a lazy ass and for helping people keep their bodies healthy! I sincerely appreciate that.

I find myself taking walks quite often, walking by the sleeping houses in my town. Sometimes there isn't much to do, so I'll just walk about. I think the "watcher" part applies as well. I'll always find my own position different from the people around me. It's like I'm visiting from the future, observing the lifes of my siblings, waiting to invest my energy in their ideas. I don't often visit bigger cities, but when I do I notice how I feel like I'm the only one awake. I'm not fooled by the bright lights, loud music and such. I don't know..

Like a wandering, waiting watcher. Or a wandering watching waiter?

Although I am learning to take the reins over my own life, finding a way to be less passive.

Another definition might be the eye in our head that watches and records everything we do.

Sometimes it feels like your the only one actually watching. Everyone else is so caught up in themselves they hardly take the time to just watch and take notice of your surroundings. This is a trait of wanderers and tbh most of the important events in my journey have been during times of watching my environment.

People also make the mistake at first meeting that I'am shy simply because I don't speak much and like to listen instead. I'am very good at absorbing other people, like a blank canvas for them to express themselves and paint on. The trouble is energy balance, people like us can very easily get almost sucked dry hence the need for solitude away from people frequently to recharge. As time goes by and the more I learn the less I need to worry about the energy exchanges as I'am increasing mine and learning to hold it through perceived dramas. They key is for everyone to be in a high energy state only increasing others levels not stealing. People would need to go to a place vulnerability however and show there true selves, something a lot of people I can not see doing anytime soon.

I very much feel the same way. It's like, "Hello?! In case you didn't notice, here we ARE, ever wondered why? Can you not see how we all seem to be expressions of the same force?!!"

Anyway, I shall get me some sunshine and grass below my feet.. Perhaps read a couple of pages in the Celestine Prophecy Cool

I get this. I also do much in business and service as stated above. And yet, I do not actually get involved with society. As a writer, I am also a watcher. Some here may think because of my efforts in the "meat" thread that it appears I do get involved, but my efforts there were two-fold: to share my views with people seeking higher knowledge, and to revel in the venue--an actual place where I could talk about how I feel, and not with one-sided activists.

For me, it is about human society and having the feeling that I am not part of it, and yet, trying to feel "one" with humans (I can easily feel "one" with everything else). It is very difficult for me to accept humans because of all the self-centered destruction to other life.

It does make sense that beings from elsewhere, wanderers, could spread the light of their consciousness without doing anything. And yet, we do set an example for others. So what we do, in my mind, matters very much.

Changing the consciousness of others would definitely involve "being seen" by others. Your example is imprinted into the experience of the planet, and recorded into the minds of others where like a seed it can eventually "become".
