Learned some new things today. Started working with pyrite today, a piece from my old childhood collection. It came up in conversation a couple times lately. And when certain things come up in conversation with certain individuals, especially more than once, I find pursuing them further to be fruitful. Realized I didn't have a piece on my main shelves to work with, so found a nice little cluster in my childhood stash. Hasn't seen sun in a while.
In fact, I haven't really been good about doing anything in particular to charge my crystals. I felt the bright sun today and the pyrite in my hand, when I looked at it outside and felt drawn to let it charge along with a group of other very solar energy oriented type crystals.
The pyrite is charging now along with a six sided golden serpentine tower point, a golden chrysoberyl obelisk, a large neon-yellow sulfur included quartz crystal, my orange banded jade 50mm sphere, 30mm black obsidian sphere, a beautiful amber piece with insect inclusions, an my piece of Libyan desert glass. They take on a new vibrancy and intensity of color in strong natural sunlight.
Some crystals I hear charge better by other methods and its useful sometimes to use moonlight. Some crystals will fade or become otherwise damaged by direct sunlight, so no sun charging for them. What came to me is there is still a way to specifically get solar energy in them and charge more stones on shelves without having to charge them all outside. The tower and obelisk shapes of very solar oriented stones will absorb extra and broadcast it to my other crystals.
When I came in thinking on this and passed the washing machine, the remaining time on the cycle it was on said 1:11.
