It occurred to me that there are far too many fascinating and interesting news articles out there that have either a direct appeal to the LOO, or perhaps others even only a peripheral one, which go largely unnoticed as a result of simply not being aware of them versus not having the time to search them out.

I have no clue as to what category these interesting news clips may best be suited to other than the general one here "Life on Planet Earth." It is my hope that it might catch on (working under the assumption that it hasn't been done?), and that it might be widely accepted as a stimulus for LOO points to discuss either here, or perhaps on other posts. Perhaps this category might lend itself better by keeping it simple, as in posting the article only (as seen below,) and then pick up discussions as they pertain to the LOO on that article on separate threads to them?

    Here are a few examples:

    1. Supermassive Black Hole in the Milky Way Galaxy
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCADH3x56eE

    2.and the go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDxFjq-scvU
and fast forward to 42 minutes and 20 seconds (42:20) to listen to Professor Reinhard Genzel who discovered that revolving around our Central Black Hole (the center of our Milky Way Galaxy) are more black holes, i.e. black holes revolve around black holes. Fascinating! Be forewarned that the good professor is not as Hollywood as is the preceding documentary above in which he also appears.

    2. Giant Stars

3.Then theres this this little something to perk us up and brighten our day: Mass Extinction Threat: Earth on Verge of Huge Reset Button?

just a thought but these might be better placed in the science and
    technology section.

Quantum, you could send a note to one of the moderators asking them to join this thread. This gives them a great chance to clarify how to pick the right forum. They will move things to another thread as they see fit, but we can help them if we understand their intentions a bit better.

I agree with norral, all three examples you gave fit in the Science theme as far as I can tell. I think the Strictly and Sessions forums are supposed to have only discussions that start from a Ra or Q'uo session respectively.

    Hey Quantum,

You'll surely enjoy a thread that popped up around December last year... "Logos Creating Galaxy Found"
    http://www.bring4th.org/forums/showthrea...8&pid=7342

In which we discussed some aspects of black holes, Logoi and et cetera.

    Happy monday,
    ~Lavazza
