what am i talking about. well there is a time and a season for everything
for over 2500 years the messages of both buddha and christ have been
available to man. ask yourself how many people have actually listened
to them and tried to incorporate those messages into their lives.
very very few. most of mankind have gone on their merry ways
blithely ignoring the message of love and peace and compassion that
these two great souls brought. We have witnessed tremendous
abuses exploitation corruption and a decline in morality. people in general
are no longer ashamed of too much. i had a fellow at work tell me he
has his 1 year old son watch pornography with him. imagine that
1 year old its truly amazing and he wasnt ashamed of saying that either.
thats his choice. man has been permitted to get away with this stuff with
little or no consequences and he has become convinced that there is
no God. well there is a God and the time when man can just blithely
ignore divine law and expect that there are no consequences is over.
It is done done done. this oil spill did not occur in a vaccume .
God is aware of it and permits it. and we are going to see more of this
much more over the next 2.5 years. all of the remaining systems are
going to be dismantled the economic political social religious are all
going to come apart as the lies and deceit and brought to the surface.
we can chose to either fear or have faith. those of us who chose faith
will be able to live our lives without fear and to help others to do so
also. if we choose fear it is not going to be fun.
but that is it. the time of man not having to answer for his evil
and his arrogance are over. faith and a humble heart will be our
best friends as we journey forward

I have to respectfully disagree, Love is still all that there is.

    Peace, Love, Light and Namasté

Isn't it true that all men seek happiness? Isn't it true that all men avoid pain? Isn't it further true that these motivators combined with a lot of confusion can allow a lot of evil to exist?

Unfortunately a message is only a message if it gets across undistorted... We can look at the message of the two gentlemen and see they have been severely distorted by now.

This is not the fault of the majority. The majority's predicament is that they allow others to think for them. That they put value into messages that come from outside of themselves.

I've heard an example a guy living on a beach front wakes up from an earth quake, a big one. So he naturally evacuates the building as quickly as possible. But he encounters no one on the stairs down. Then outside he starts jogging towards the hills to avoid a potential tsunami. And as he's walking he sees people outside and on balconies looking around, scratching their chins and heading back to bed.

The tsunami risk was real. No one panicked, everyone pretended nothing happened, and therefore everyone went back to bed.

This is the same. As long as we can pretend nothing is going wrong we can all stay in bed. The oil disaster cannot be denied. Something is wrong. Perhaps people will wake up now.
