Cloaked Craft?

Twice within the past few months I have witnessed what appeared to be cloaked craft in my neighborhood. The first instance happened so quickly I wasn't sure what to make of it. I saw a very large, obscured shape drift through the sky and disappear behind some trees in a matter of seconds. There was just enough definition to tell something was there, as if light had been bent around the object. The shape was transparent but had a somewhat cloudy quality. It was something that would likely be missed by the majority of people, barely visible. 

The second instance occurred when I was driving to work two days ago. As I was driving I saw a bright flash in the sky. It was high up enough to be above the buildings and telephone poles, but not nearly high enough to be a plane. For a second or two I saw an odd, long shape that seemed to have many smaller spherical components attached to it. Then, before my eyes, it faded away, but I could still just make out an outline of the shape, and watched it for several seconds as it drifted lazily away, leaving a small bit of what looked like smoke or gas behind. It didn't even remotely resemble an airplane, helicopter, blimp, etc. Unfortunately I was not in a situation where I could stop my car to watch it further, and I was forced to turn away from the spectacle and drive away.

I was wondering if anyone else has had experience with this type of phenomenon. I doubt it was of the thought form variety, as a thought form should be able to materialize and de-materialize with ease and there would be no need to cloak. Perhaps some sort of military tech? As odd as it was, it seemed a bit crude compared to some of the alien technology you hear about.

Well, I don't have much to add, except that as I started reading your post my computer rebooted itself. !

And, then as I was in the middle of this reply, my computer restarted again....

So your feeling was that it was likely military/terrestrial technology? I'll be honest, I live in the middle of a bunch of military/air force bases so I do my best not to pay too much attention to what their myriad of craft are doing above me. The weirdest thing I notice, however, is that I sometimes see cloud formations that are way too neatly shaped - bell shapes, oval shapes, round shapes, sometimes multiple clustered together. Solid and still. Always hovering around Cheyenne Mountain (NORAD). As far as what goes on between the cloud level and the ground with aircraft, again, I really tune it out, because there is a lot.

Hi reaper, only ever seen one u.f.o. 1978 may. Outside the maternity wing with partner. Coart my eye as it was moving so fast. Quick 45 degree turn and its moving straight at us. Triangle shape craft, lights down the side, stops directly over the maternity hospital. 30 mtrs away you could hear it, a soft hum/whiring sound. About 20 mtrs above hospital surrounded in cloud you could just make its shape. A white/green light shon through the clouds onto the building. The strangest thing about this encounter was it took a year to realize there were no clouds in the sky that evening and I still can't remember it leaving.

I don't recall my particular thoughts, but I was in my usual mental configuration. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I saw it in a public area during the day with many cars around, so it's very possible more people saw it, though it was also the kind of thing that could be easily missed.

By cloaked do you perhaps mean it was blurred?
