I have been missing Lily Dale lately, and was wondering if any you wanderers had ever wandered there?

It was an integral part of my spiritual path until I moved too far away to visit. Until then, I'd go every summer. The place is magical. Aside from the atmosphere of peace and serenity, the natural beauty and the charm of a small 19th century village mostly perfectly preserved, it always felt as if it was somehow located a few steps above the rest of the world and closer to heaven.

I used to love fasting and meditating there. Early on, the Native American sweat lodges led by Neil were definitely a major highlight of each trip. One time, the leader asked for the first person to get a message from Mother Earth to speak up, and to my total surprise I suddenly heard a very clear, "If you don't waste my resources, I promise that you will never go hungry again." Just one of many neat memories.

If anyone else has been there, I would love to hear your memories and impressions. It would help me with my home-away-from-home-sickness Smile

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Lily Dale is the oldest spiritualist community in the United States located in northern NY. A large portion of its permanent residents are "registered mediums" who have passed some sort of accuracy test and three times a day, during the summer season, provide free brief channeled messages to the visitors as part of their religious service. There are also lots of workshops, etc. which I haven't often attended - the place itself is magical enough.

A transcript of my conversation with my guides about this follows.

Why have I been feeling such an incredibly strong desire to go to Lily Dale?
The reason is your memory. You had incredibly positive experiences there, and it is associated in your memory and mind with spiritual bliss, that is the truth. Focus on the present and find the same bliss here, for there is never any need to relocate physically to feel connected to the energies you crave. They (we) are always there for you, simply waiting to be called upon to service you, that is the truth.

How can I recreate and connect to those states and energies?
The energies question we have just answered - a simple call is sufficient. Call us the Lily Dale Energies and we will surely respond to that name. the state will come in its own due time.

[At this point I called on them and asked them to do what they have offered, and felt an incredible, beautiful, gentle bliss centered around the heart area that is difficult to describe, but is one of the best states I have ever experienced in this life, that had me saying "thank you, thank you, thank you" to them. I am still feeling it as I type this. I asked them if I could offer their service to others, thinking of my friends on bring4th]:

    Can others call on you?
We would be honored to serve others in the same way we are currently serving you, and we appreciate the opportunity to do so, that is the truth.

So, here you go. Enjoy! (if it isn't clear from the above, you have to call on them and ask due to free will).

I usually just feel resistance in my heart.
