anyone else seen this film?
I don't think I've seen the depiction of slavery (treating people as 'property') done in such a stark way.
Tarantino's film a couple of years ago was pretty good (Django Unchained), so maybe humanity is deciding to revisit this topic.
although the '12 years' seemed to play out like 6 months. The director/producer could have added some datelines to convey more clearly how much time had passed etc.
