Hey all
So we've been in our new forever home for a couple months now. It was originally built in 1916 by George Colby, the founder of a local spiritualist camp called Cassadaga. Its a very unique and quirky house that we are deep into ripping all the unnatural drywall along with the many failed attempts at remodeling that has been attempted over the course of its life.
Anyways, in my Neverending pursuit of finding as much information as I can about George Colby, I revisited the olden days back when modern spiritualism was born or reborn depending on how you think about it.
If you haven't read into the history, it's quite interesting and their principles are somewhat similar to the basics of the Law of One.
The international association for the preservation of spiritual and occult publications is a very interesting look into the past and how spirituality was viewed in publications.
Here you can find about the history.

One part I was looking into was various spiritualist conventions. George Colby was part of it at various times and as I was perusing this pdf file, it had the spiritualist principles and Creed they went by and its very very interesting. I'm sure it can be found online in a different form but it's kinda cool reading old scans of the original publications.
This is a direct pdf download so don't be alarmed when it starts to download
[pdf link]
If you scroll through the page 30 or so, you can read their principles. After that, it goes in depth about channeling, clairvoyance, etc that is quite intriguing
The iapsop website has a search engine so you can search for random mediums or conventions and read about life as a spiritualist in the late 1800's
